U.S. and Canada recall children's painting rollers made in China

On May 2, 2024, the U.S. CPSC and Health Canada announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s painting rollers.
The recalled product is Creativity Street children's painting foam rollers. The product has 4 different patterns. The handles are yellow, green, blue, and red. The model is PAC5170, which can be used by children when painting. The batch numbers 02142080423 and 02142230523 are printed on the back of the package.
The lead content in the product's handle exceeded federal regulations, posing adverse health risks to young children if ingested.
The recalled products were sold from September 2023 to January 2024, with approximately 2,880 units sold in the United States and approximately 24 units in Canada, priced at approximately US$15.
So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
The CPSC and Health Canada recommend that you immediately stop using this product and contact Dixon Ticonderoga Company for a return refund.
