On February 1, 2024, the US CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made snowball ornaments.

The recalled product is Little Wanderer’s snowball ornaments. The product has a wooden base and a yellow/red/blue figurine inside the glass shell, which will "fall snow" when shaken. It is about 4.5 inches high and 3.3 inches wide.

The product may break, posing a risk of injury.

The recalled product was sold in November 2023, with approximately 1,915 units sold, priced at approximately US$85.

So far, 39 rupture reports have been received, and no casualties have been reported.

The CPSC advises consumers to stop using the product immediately and will contact the Museum of Modern Art for a full refund.
